Cacao Hot
One of the most memorable tastes I left Mexico with was a warm and complex blend of chocolate and spices. Wintertime in Helsinki, spicy hot chocolate gives you a kick.
Mexican Hot Chocolate (ingredients for one)
2 tbsp dark cacao powder
1,5 tbsp coconut sugar
pinch of cayenne pepper
pinch of vanilla bean powder
pinch of good table salt
2 dl (0,85 cups) hot milk
boiled water
In a medium cup, mix dry ingredients with a tiny amount of boiled water to make a thick paste. Add a third of the milk and whisk until completely blended. Blend in remaining milk, and enjoy right away.
