Bad Taste

“A little bad taste is like a nice splash of paprika. We all need a splash of bad taste – it’s hearty, it’s healthy, it’s physical. I think we could use more of it.”

I adore this quote by Diane Vreeland. It can be applied to style and life in general.

In a world where things usually get labeled simply as ‘good’ or ‘bad’, we try our best to avoid the bad stuff, and think our lives will be good if we get as much of the good stuff as we possibly can.

And yet, nothing in excess is good. It’s impossible to create harmony without embracing discourse.
