Postcard from Beijing, November 2016.


“It’s a amazing what a hot bath can do for a tired, severely jetlagged body and mind.

Soaking in the water, the tension begins easing. I believe that while you sweat dirt and toxins out of your body, your mind too gets cleansed.

Beijing feels extreme to me, but I look forward to exploring it, a little bit at a time, keeping this beautiful hotel room as my home base.

But for now, I think I will draw more hot water and just rest for a while. When the world feels overwhelming, bathing is bliss.”
